Kenneth J. Hallock Sr.

Kenneth J. Hallock Sr., 78, of Tunkhannock died Thursday March 22^nd at The Gardens in Tunkhannock. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Diane Rutledge Hallock. He was born in Scranton, Pa on December 17, 1939 son of the late Alton and Dorothy Flesch Hallock. Ken was a veteran of the United States Army and retired after 33 years from the City of Scranton’s Public Works Department. He was known as the Self-Proclaimed Mayor of Rivercrest, he was an avid hunter, enjoyed working on tractors, watching western movies, family picnics, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael, Brothers Robert, Richard, David, Alton, John and Sister Betty Searfoss.

He is survived by his sons Kenneth Jr., and wife Lynn, of Tunkhannock, Kevin J. and wife Sarah, of Tunkhannock, daughters Debra Warman and husband Frank, of Shickshinny, Jean Biondollo and husband Joe Statuto, of Tunkhannock, Brenda Public and husband Ed, of Tunkhannock, brothers Billy, Donny, Raymond, Jerry, Clarence, Joey, Gary, sister Louis Raub, seven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 26^th at 1:30 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions can be made to True Friends Animal Shelter.
