Obituary of Naomi J. Kresge

Naomi J. Kresge, 83, of Lake Winola, passed away Saturday July 15^th surrounded by her family.  She is survived by her husband, Kent D. Kresge. The couple celebrated their 62^nd wedding anniversary on the day she passed.

She was born Falls, Pa. daughter of the late Gerald and Mary Shaffer France. She was a graduate of Falls Overfield High School class of 1952. Prior to her marriage she worked at the Northeastern National Bank. She was member of the Lake Winola United Methodist Church, were she was very involved as a member of the choir and helped to run the clothing room for many years. She was also a member of the Lake Winola Fire Company Auxiliary.

Surviving are daughters, Diane and husband Rick, Tamie Degilio and husband George, Jill Rosario and husband Juan, son Scott Kresge and wife Tammy, eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was a granddaughter Dulcey Degilio brother Gerald Franz and a sister Dora Rogers.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am from the Lake Winola United Methodist Church, 326 Maple Drive, Lake Winola with Pastor Nicholas McMichael presiding.  Family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 5 - 8 pm and again Wednesday morning from 10 am until the time of the service.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Lake Winola Fire Company, PO Box 73, Lake Winola, PA 18625 or to Allied Service Hospice Center, 511 Morgan Highway, PO Box 1103, Scranton, PA 18501-1103.
