Obituary of William H. Severcool

William “Bill” Severcool, Sr.

William “Bill” Severcool, Sr., 82, of Forkston died Tuesday August 21, 2018 at home, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Madge “Joy” Hollister Severcool.

Born in Springville, PA on November 4, 1935 he was the son of the late Charles and Flossie Severcool and step father, Robert Stone.

Bill was a self-employed farmer for 49 years. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and calm nature.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons; William, Jr. and wife Kim, of Forkston, Kenneth, Sr., of Forkston, One daughter; Angel Hawley and husband Michael, of Montrose. Eight grandchildren; Phillip Snyder, Gina Suydam and husband Tony, Donna Allen and companion Charlie Margardio, Scott Severcool, Kenneth Severcool, Jr., Brooke Padavan and husband Michael, Emily Hawley, and Jacob Hawley. Seven great-grandchildren; Anna Wilson, Alex Suydam, Aiden Suydam, Kelci Allen, Tiler Allen, Acacia Severcool, Emma Padavan.

He was preceded in death by his brother Charles and a sister Mildred Fisher.

The family will receive friends Friday from 3-6 pm at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
