Ann Marie Altenhain 69, of Tunkhannock died Saturday, August 25th at the Gardens in Tunkhannock. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Richard F. Altenhain.

 

She was born in Scranton on January 20, 1949, daughter of the late Carl and Lusetta Bohr Lesh.

 

Ann Marie was a member of the Church of Nativity BVM, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and family.  She was a past member of the board of directors of The Tunkhannock Baseball Association and worked as a manager at McDonalds in Tunkhannock for many years.

 

She was preceded in death by her son Steven C., and Brother Carl Jr.

 

She is survived by her sons Brian and Heather Nicholas and Doug and Stacy, of Tunkhannock, brother Gerard Lesh, sisters Kathy White, Rita Kircher, and grandsons Alex and Steven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 29th at 10:00 AM from the Church of Nativity BVM Tunkhannock. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
