Obituary of Philip W. Moyer

Philip W. Moyer, 68, of Tunkhannock died on September 13, 2018.He was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years Wendi L. Moyer.

Born July 26, 1950, He was the son of the late Philip and Martha Moyer of Evans Falls.

Philip worked for Penn Dot for 20 years, and for the Salvation Army, Tunkhannock after his retirement.

Phil was a member of Lake Carey Vol. Fire Company, and Enjoyed Hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He had a love for ford tractors, and being involved with his community.

He is survived by his son Corey of Tunkhannock. Brother-in-law; Don Beyer of Fleetville. Sister-in-laws; Deborah Welch of Tunkhannock, Kim Hackman of Taylor, Joy Hackman of Scranton. Aunts; Helen Goodman of Evans Falls, and Thelma Wilson of Tunkhannock. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to attend Phil’s funeral which will be held Saturday September 15 at 11:00AM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Interment will follow in Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Noxen. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00AM until the time of service on Saturday.
