Obituary of Neil Jay Smith
Neil Jay Smith, 67, of Tunkhannock Township died September 27, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann.
Born February 3, 1951 he was the son of the Howard C. and Carolyn Werley Smith.
A graduate of Northern Leigh Neil enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
Neil is survived by daughter; Sylinda Smith and companion Joel Charron of Tunkhannock. Step-daughter; Michele Hoffner and husband Ben of Slatington. Two step-sons; Charles Schmoyer and wife Charlotte, and Brent Schmoyer both of Slatington. Four Grandchildren; Aurora and Mayven Charron, Derek and Christian Schmoyer; two brothers, Howard Smith and wife Kathleen, and Todd Smith and wife Denise.
He was predeceased by his sister Carol Synder.
A memorial service will be held at a later date near Slatington.
