Obituary of Francis Lyle Hartman

Francis L. Hartman, 87, of Factoryville, PA died November 09, 2018 at his residence. He was preceded in death in 1997 by his wife Ruth Ann Anderson Hartman.

Born in Factoryville on February 4, 1931 he was the son of the late Fred and Hazel Barber Hartman. Prior to his retirement Francis was an Army veteran and worked for Procter and Gamble, Mehoopany, PA.

Francis enjoyed photography and collecting old cameras, he was an accomplished Jews harp(mouth harp) player and found happiness in Bluegrass Country music.

He will be greatly missed especially by his canine companion George.

Francis is survived by three sons, Darryl a nomad, Duane of Easton, PA, and Dean of Troy, NY; three daughters, Dawn Jayne of Palmerton, PA, Denise Edkin of Factoryville,PA, and Darlene Greenleaf and husband Eston of Easton, PA; seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his wife he was also preceded in death by brothers, Art, Walter, Harry, Fred, Steve and Lawrence; sisters, Grace and Helean.

Funeral service will be held at a later date.
