Obituary of David E. Mattocks

David E. Mattocks, 49, of Tunkhannock returned to his heavenly home on November 18, 2018 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley after a valiant four-year battle with cancer.

 

He will be remembered for his firm faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, his deep love for his family, and his undying commitment to the dairy community and his farm.

 

Born January 7, 1969, he is survived by his parents, Gerald W. and Clara E. Mattocks, his wife, Lisa A. Mattocks, and children, Marcus Hernandez and Isaac Mattocks. Also by his brother, John and his wife Susan Mattocks, and their four children Luke, Emily, Ben and Caleb. As well as an innumerable host of “cow-children” to which he dedicated almost 40 years of his life. Many thanks go to the agricultural community which helped him live this dream.

 

Family and friends are invited to attend Dave’s funeral service which held Saturday at 11:00AM from the Community Bible Church, 327 SR 92 S Tunkhannock, PA 18657. With Pastor David Stuckey presiding. Interment will be held in the Prevost Cemetery, Russell Hill, PA. Friends may call on Friday November 23, 2018 from 4-6PM at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
