Sherry was truly a blessing to our children as they experienced her intoxicating, fun, child-centered teaching style! Our family had the privilege of getting to know Sherry through our children who were enrolled at Hamilton Elementary 19, 21, and 23 years ago! Our grown children still speak fondly of the incredible teacher/person Sherry is! It's not surprising that 2 of our children are teachers themselves :) Sherry's legacy lives on through our children! We hope and pray that we can all follow such an example so that we can also touch the lives of so many! Rest in peace dear Miss Harding, and thanks so much for your love of life, and for always finding a way to help others embrace the child within. Sherry led a full life, albeit too brief. Those of us who taught with her at Stroudsburg will remember her passion for teaching and love for her students and staff. Sherry
was fun and funny. The world was a happier place with her in it. She did make an impact and a difference in the lives around her. In the words of Dr. Suess, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Sherry, thru our sad hearts, we are smiling.

Aunt Kay, Uncle Albert, Pam, Lisa, Denise, Albert, David and the rest of the family, my heart hurts for all of you. Sherry was a sweet and gentle soul. She reached out to me at the last family reunion we both attended and shared some of her own wisdom and experience to help me through some rough times I was dealing with. She was so warm and loving, so easy to talk to and so quick to listen. She really understood, but most of all, she cared. Sherry, I love you. I'll see you on the other side cousin, no more tears, no more pain.

This made me so sad. What an absolutely wonderful family you all are & I shudder to imagine your heartbreak. Reading about her has me believing she was the "fun aunt" who was very welcoming & made herself approachable to all the kids, to everyone. I know how much she will be missed, & I also know that when you live your life the way she did, it's a guarantee that God most certainly has a special place for her. So stay close, treasure your memories, frame all your pictures & please find comfort in knowing you are thought of by those who loved her & are blessed to know a family like yours. Much love...
