Obituary of Dale Allison Bowman

Dale Allison Bowman, 61, of Tunkhannock died Saturday at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock. Born in Meshoppen on April 28, 1957 she was the daughter of the late David T. and Joanna Sanders Burridge.

 

Dale attended Elk Lake School District, prior to her retirement she worked in the Ames Store in Tunkhannock and at Tyler Memorial Hospital as a clerk.

 

Dale was a 20 year breast cancer survivor, in her spare time she enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.

 

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but is dancing among the angels. 

 

Surviving is her husband of 20 years Gregory Bowman; sons, Michael Geras, Tunkhannock, Jonathan and wife Emily Geras, Factoryville; daughters, Sarah and husband Scott Doyle, Tunkhannock, Rachael and husband Jason Bamberger, Dalton; brother, Duane Burridge, NC; sisters, Darlene Reynaud, OK, Diana Punch, PA; grandchildren, Avery, Evan, Kayden, David, Kole, and Isaac

 

Family and friends are invited to attend Dale’s celebration of life service which will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 3 p.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Pastor Mike Conroy of the Grace Fellowship Church presiding. Interment will take place in Overfield Cemetery, Meshoppen at a later date. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
