My condolences to Don's family. Don't was my friend, neighbor and golf buddy. I will always remember the fun we had playing golf with him. We also had great conversations at the 18th hole. He will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad used to brighten my day when he came to play golf and later whenever we would see him out and about. My love to your family. He was a sweet man.

So sorry about Don. I cleaned, well tried!, for Don. He was wonderful. He just got over the loss of his dear dog. She always knew when I got there she was going for a ride and a donut. God speed.

Don always greeted you with a enthusiastic smile throughout our days at the BDD office. He offered advice on many, many subjects and told so many wonderful stories and had us laughing until we had tears in our eyes. You could not help but loving him... and we all did! Prayers for peace our dear "Don the Guard.

So sorry for your loss. Don was such a great man, always a smile and kind words. BDD was never the same without him. I know how much he loved his children and grandchildren, he talked about them often. He fell in love with my border collie, Carly and thus, Chelsea became his best friend. Rest in peace, Don. Please let Chelsea play with Carly until I see her again.

Don and I enjoyed our morning coffee and conversation at Dunkin for years, and enjoyed taking our dogs to the park. He shared many interesting stories about his past, his adventures and his family. Our families also got to know each other over the years. Don enjoyed the home cooking I would bring him, especially my brownies.
I’ll miss watching old westerns, restarting the coal stove and reminding Don to tune into the Sunday morning Polka Maniac radio show. So long from your “pal”.
P.S. I promise not to “mess up” your pickle recipe

Don was one of the nicest guys I ever met. He made me feel so at ease when I went for my interview at BDD. He was such a special man. We enjoyed many pizzas and beers together. He took me target shooting. He loved his Chelsea dog. He was always telling me about his grandchildren and how his granddaughter would travel all over. He was so proud of his family. We all loved him at BDD as well.

Don was a cherished friend for many years. Always a smile and a chuckle. Working with him at BDD was a joy, and had many dinners, time spent in the park with him and Chelsea and a beer here and there. Heaven has gained an awesome Angel! Fly high Don the Guard.
