Obituary of Michael T. Smith

Michael T. Smith, 61, of Meshoppen died May 23, 2019 at Regional Hospital of Scranton. He is survived by his wife Penny Carey Smith.

Born in Meshoppen on August 25, 1957 he was the son of the late Thomas and Barbara McKinney Severcool.

In addition to his wife Mike is survived by sons, Michael Smith and T.J. Noble and wife Andi; daughters, Autumn Norcross and husband Robert, and Shannon Noble and companion Fred; brother, Jeffery Smith; sister, Cindy O’Malley; twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Edwards; brother, Kenneth Smith.

Family and friends are invited to attend Michael’s funeral service which will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
