We were blessed to know Jim as a member of our small group. Jim was such a great example of how to humbly serve others with integrity. Jim was always a gentleman with a quick wit and kind word. He will be missed by those who loved him and those whom he served.

During the many years that I was on the Board of Directors of the YMCA camps in
Medford NJ, I came to admire and respect our treasurer, Jim Salmon, so much.
His advice, integrity and wisdom was so respected by me and the others. He
was always thoughtful and kind, but although he had a quiet, calm personality, he had a wonderful "dry" sense of humor. I am so sad to hear of his unfortunate
death. My sympathy to his family and friends. What a good man!

May the eternal light of our Lord's resurrection abide with Jim as he now enjoys the fruits of his faith and life work. He was a dedicated disciple who loved his church.

I Worked with Jim during my tenure at Us Cold. He was very nice, always polite, and never failed to say hi when he passed by. I remember a particular fun time during our annual golfing event. Somehow Jim ended up golfing with myself and Donna Buck. I have to say we had a lot of fun that day. I don’t think any of us were going to be the next Tiger Woods but we still had a great time on the golf course and laughed so much throughout the day. I got to see another side of Jim and I’m glad I did.
In closing I’d like to use a line from the beautiful Sarah McLaughlin song “Angel”
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there
Rest In Peace Jim

I offer my most sincere condolences to Jim’s family. Your grief must be unspeakable and I am so sorry.
Through years of working together and countless late evening calls, I gained a very special friend in Jim. He was smart, witty, provocative and sometimes annoyingly analytical, yet compassionate, meek and understanding. As a friend he was my unwavering supporter, always encouraging me to do better, throwing down a new challenge. I am a better person for knowing him and I am grateful.
That said, I am devastated and so truly heartbroken. A great human being has left a huge hole here on earth.
Rest peacefully my friend.

Jim was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I did legal work for him in my days at Drinker Biddle. He had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful client. I recall a particular ruckus lunch in Center City with Jim and his one-time boss John U. What fun! Jim wrote me a letter when I left private practice. I still have the letter. It is such a shame he is gone so soon. May those who knew him pay his kindness forward.
