Please accept my deepest condolences Marty, Matthew, Mellissa and Mark and families . The Wiernuszes were our neighbors growing up on McCord Street. Michaeline had her beauty shop there in their house.
They had a beautiful big new station wagon. Once when she was giving us a ride to school to Roslund I was sitting in the passenger seat in the front. I think my mother told me not to slam their doors, because when she made the left hand turn at the end of Harrison Street the passenger door opened while the vehicle was still in motion. So if you can picture me sitting in the front seat with one hand holding the door it was rather comical in retrospect. I didn’t fall out but I was hanging there. I’m crying and laughing as I write this. Oh the stories we could tell. Many years later when I visited her at her new house on Harrison Street I was very impressed with her photography. She was an extremely talented photographer as well as the poised gracious lady I had known my whole life. Peace be with you, all of you. - David Kuffa
