I only knew Don as a neighbor and through mutual friends but he was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. He always had a smile on his face no matter where you ran into him. when I think of him I'll always think of the way he conned me into taking two of his beagle pups. we had got a female beagle about a year before and he used to see us out in the yard with her so one day we were out there and he stopped and he said I have something for you down the road I said no one's enough. The very next day here he comes for his walk with the grandchildren and two pups leading the way needless to say I took them both. We kept one and gave one to a friend. The one we kept he had called Ike so that's what we kept his name. we still have Ike and Everytime I look at him I'll think of Don. I got to know his wife several years ago. The sweetest lady I've ever met. She always kept me updated on his health and I'm thankful for that. She always refered to me as his girlfriend. She was out for her walk the day before he passed and made it a point to stop and let us know. She held it together. I don't know how because I cried my eyes out when she left. There are some people that you don't have to know personally to feel the love they have to share. May God Bless you all in your time of sorrow.

Donnie was a good man. Many good memories we had working on his equipment for him. Always joking, always making us laugh, always a good time visiting with him and his wife. Will miss him.
