Obituary of Barbara Jane O'Hara

Barabara Jane O’Hara, 87, of Meshoppen, Springville Twp. died at her home on Saturday May 30, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis Xavier O’Hara in 2012. Born in Philadelphia on February 8, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Gladus Andrews Gomeringer. Prior to her retirement she worked as a Real Estate agent. She was a god loving person and a member of the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock. She enjoyed planting flowers working in the yard and raising chickens. Barb is survived by her sons, James T. O’Hara and fiancé Rose of Florida, Francis X. O’Hara, Jr. and wife Carrie of Tunkhannock; daughter, Sharon O’Hara-Wright and husband Charles of Meshoppen, and Barbara J. Thibault and husband Lewis of Pittsgrove, NJ; Twelve Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest A. Gomeringer, and granddaughter, Daniel Marie O’Hara. Due to the current restrictions a private family funeral will be held with interment in Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
