Dear Carl, Ellen, Nickie and Mark,
My deepest condolences on Barbara’s passing. If Gary were were still here, he would join me in wishing you peace at this time of great sadness. It is a shame that this pandemic prevents celebrating Barb’s life just now. My memories of her include her brilliant smile atop one of her horses. I wish we could thank her for Lauren and Eric’s many joyful summers that revolved around their horses and the White Oak club, as well as coordinating the many special family gatherings at districts and states. It is true that their own hard work enabled them to earn their way to district and state horse shows. But Barb’s (and Sharon’s) dedication and lessons were the glue that held it all together. Thank you, Barb, for sharing your knowledge and love of everything equine with so many children and teens, and their parents. With much love,
Judy Severson

Dear Frear Family, Growing up summers on Lake St. at the lake, we spent many of our young days and years at the farm with Barbara and Wilma Minor. Helping with chores and learning to ride Barbara's horse. Beautiful memories. Barbara and Wilma were household names and conversations from the 'late 1950's to as recent as 2 weeks ago. Our sincerest sympathy to your family and Thank you for the Minor family friendship.
Much love and Prayers,
Alice McGough-Tighe, Margaret McGough-Fiorini and Jim McGough

My love of and passion for horses was inspired by Barb. I loved spending time with her and learning all I could. She taught me discipline, hard work and devotion to the all I did, especially where animals were concerned. She was
A second mom to me to me as Carl is a second dad. I will always remember all the holidays we spent together and how we changed from Thanksgiving one year with them to them coming to see us the next and Christmas was the same too. As Carl, the kids, grandkids and close friends have a void in their heart now, we do as well. Landria and I will cherish the time we got to spend with them, especially this past May when we surprised them in Florida. Love and blessings to all of you, Love Tom Jenkins.
