Alfreida –
I just read the news of Bob’s passing online up here in NY. Sadness does not begin to capture what I feel. I did not get to see you and Bob each of the random times I would revisit Mehoopany. But when I did I was always taken by his captivating smile, sincere welcome and the obvious love and devotion you and he shared. You, and the entire community, have lost a great, great man.

Charlie Bob was Charlie Bob. He loved a controversial conversation and by golly was never wrong, especially if he was in a discussion with a female. He gave from the heart in doing for others, working at church dinners, making sure friends had rides, checking in on them on Sundays, But we know he missed the open road. RIP Bob and no fear you won’t be forgotten. We all have a good Bob story. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back! Love You, Rick & Jane Mowry
