Ron had such an impact on my life in my senior year of high school. He believed in me when I didn't have the confidence he saw in me. He consistently pushed me to be better, not only in the plays he directed, but as a person as well. He was a wonderful director and person, and I'll never forget his everlasting smile and positive outlook on life. RIP, RonJon, you will be greatly missed </3

We were just a gramma and a little dancer who often went to Whipple's for dance lessons - she was the dancer, I was only the driver. Ron greeted everyone who came through the door as if they were the most important person there. He was kindness and humor in the best ways. So sorry for your sudden loss of such a good man

Ron came into my life first when I was about 13 years old. He had a way of making you feel right at home. After I graduated I had the privilege of working for him at Shadowbrook as a DJ where he continued to be a father figure. He was always quick to lend a shoulder when I needed to cry and even quicker to say "ok kid! Wash your face! Now it's time to move on!" As time went on my kids got to meet and work with Ron and loved him just as much as I did. Thanks for the advice, the laughs, and the love. You will be terribly missed.

I still brag so many years later about the BEST first job any teenager could have - working for Ron and Kim at the Dietrich and later the video store. Ron was more than a boss, he was a great friend. That job gave me such a wonderful friendship with Julie and Linc, and I count the memories of those times among my happiest. My deepest sympathy to Kim, Julie, Linc, and the entire Whipple family.
