I remember all of the times that Al and I were together at home and how we did things like work on his yellow car and how he took me out to Harveys Lake to try to teach me how to swim. One time he told me to come out to the end of the dock and jump in the water and he would catch me. I did what he told me and he caught me. But I never did it again. I loved him so much and I’m going to miss him.

Nancy and I just watched the livestream service. What a beautiful tribute to Uncle Al by the girls. Some stories were new to me, but all had a similar theme,,,the reflection of a wonderful, loving man, father, husband and human being. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this service. We wish we could be there in person to hug you all, and look forward to the day when we actually can. Our sincerest condolences to you Aunt Kay, as well as Albert Jr, David, Pam, Lisa and Denise, and all their families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Peace. Carl Jr. & Nancy

My brother Al, I will surely miss him. A few of my memories: Al coming home from the service and my mother making me play the song "He" for him on my trumpet, Al bringing Kay and Sherry to the house for the first time, telling jokes and laughing before he gets to the punch line, making the big Christmas star for the roof and nailing it into the living room floor, his yellow convertible Ford when he came home from the service, his Volkswagan bus, Corvair, etc. building the house on Goodman road, sledding down the hill after a snow storm and drinking hot chocolate to get warm, of course golfing and many, many more great memories! Al was a great brother and friend to me and I will miss him. May he RIP.
Love, Bob

I think of Al often. I purchased some old 2 drawer cabenis from Bendix that had Al's name on them from the South Montrose plant. I use them to store nails, crewss etc in my garage. Whenever I need one of hose items, I see Al's name and think of him. My condolences to his family. -- Rich Selders
