Cindy Lee Nye, 63, of Tunkhannock passed away Tuesday November 24, 2020 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 43 years Charles J. Nye.
Born in Passiac, New Jersey on January 12, 1957 she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Jackson Morgan.
Her family was most important to her as well as her cats. She was a wonderful singer with a love for music. Cindy enjoyed traveling and loved the beach. Her favorite hobby was yard sales and thrift shops.
In addition to her husband she is survived by daughter, Charlene Nye; brother, Edward Morgan; mother-in-law, Georgianna Nye.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Nye; sister, Dorothy Garzilli.
Family and friends are invited to attend Cindy’s celebration of life service which will be held on Sunday November 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Cindy’s name to SPCA, 524 E Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
