Ray Grinnell, 47, of Mehoopany passed away at his home after a battle with cancer. Born in Tunkhannock on February 27, 1973 he is survived by his parents Merle L. and Sarah L. Hollister Grinnell. Ray loved farming and was a helper on a dairy farm in the recent years. He was an avid hunter and fisher. Ray attended the Mehoopany Baptist Church with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by brother, Merle R. Grinnell; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah D. Grinnell; grandparents, Ken and Ruth Hollister and Ethal Ada; great grandparents, Fred and Madge Balliot. Family and friends are invited to attend Ray’s funeral service which will be held on Friday January 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Mehoopany Baptist Church, 4301 PA-87, Mehoopany, PA 18629. Interment will follow in Jersey Hill Cemetery, Auburn Township. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.
