Obituary of James Sr. Nothoff

James Nothoff Sr. 68 of Monroe Twp passed away Friday May 8, 2021 at home with his truest companion; his dog- Buddy. Born in Wilkes-Barre, June 4, 1952, he was the son of the late Jack and Stella Klimovich Nothoff. James was a very proud US Navy Veteran. He was an avid outdoorsman; you could often times find him smoking/grilling an array of food with recipes only he ever knew, hiking, or taking endless strolls. James was quick witted; he always had the greatest comebacks for anything. He could talk for hours & always had a story to tell. He loved history & current events and knew everything about the littlest things and was a true wealth of knowledge. He is survived by his children- James Nothoff Jr. of Wilkes Barre, Tammy Wilson of Tunkhannock, Crystal Bingman and husband Nathan of Nicholson, Lauren Nothoff of Tunkhannock, Derrick Nothoff of Dunmore. Grandchildren- Jamie, Molly, Bradley, Janie, Colbie, Jacob, Cayden, Carter, Liam, Deon, & Alaina. Great Grandchildren- Jenna & Jason. Also, brother Donald Nothoff of Dupont & sister Marie Kern of Dallas and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother Jackie Nothoff, Sister Jeanette (BJ) Nothoff, brother William Nothoff, and sister Dorothea (Pudgie) Gordon.
