James R. Corrigan, 78, of Tunkhannock passed away on July 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Elizabeth A. Wilson Corrigan. Born in Bristol, PA on October 7, 1942 he was the son of the late John and Dorothy Levers Corrigan. He was a 1962 graduate of Bristol High School and enjoyed nature and building birdhouses. Jim was known for his witty humor and could be often found collecting drift wood to whittle or playing billiards. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, James and wife Wendy, and Sean Corrigan; daughters, Marianne Corrigan, and Cathleen Gonzalez and husband Mickey; brothers, Thomas and Charles Corrigan; sister, Virginia Paleafico; grandchildren, Amanda, Lindsay, Brittany, Jordan, Kenneth, Casey, Jamie, Jenifer, Jason, Devon, Tyler, Alexa, and Katherine; great grandchildren, Mark and Lucy; brother-in-law, Robert Wilson; sister-in-law, Rae Bell. Jim will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Jack Corrigan; sister, Peggy Petty. Funeral services will be held privately.
