Obituary of Wilard Durling

Willard W. Durling, 80, of Tunkhannock passed away Wednesday August 18, 2021 at Geisinger Community Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife Hazel M. White. Born on September 12, 1940 in Englewood, NJ he was the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Darsaro Durling. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending his time outdoors camping and four wheeling. He was a long-time employee of Tunkhannock Fuel and Coal Company and later Ace-Robbins where he drove truck for over 35 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Rick; daughter, Florence; brothers, John and Frank; sister, Carol Smith; grandchildren, Megin, Cayden, Brian, Matt, and Josh; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Karevin. He was preceded in death by son, Francis; brother, Edward; sisters, Mary Warner and Beatrice Puterbaugh. Funeral services will be held privately with interment in Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
