Obituary of Louise Ann Offshack

Louise Ann Offshack, 90, of Sugar Hollow, Tunkhannock passed away on September 15, 2021 at her home after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband George Offshack. Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 19, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Wilma (Nancarrow) Sakoski. She was a 1949 graduate of Kingston High School and a member of the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Louise is survived by her sons, George Offshack and wife Marilyn Warren of Belleville Ontario, Canada, Edward Offshack and partner Kyle Kieper of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Christopher Offshack and wife Emily both of Kingston Ontario, Canada; brother, Bishop Robert Clement and partner David Epstein of West Hollywood, CA; grandchildren, Bethany and Jeffery both of Knoxville, TN, and Evan of Kingston Ontario, Canada; great grandchildren, Josh and Caleb of Knoxville, TN. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Sakoski, Jr. The family wishes to thank friend, Julianne Miller, for her tireless advocacy on our Mom’s behalf through these past 8 years, to make sure that she was well cared for and able to remain in her home until death; and her long time live-in caregiver, Flo.
