Pauline Oakley, 87, of Nicholson passed away Saturday January 22, 2022 at Geisinger Community Center, Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Oakley Sr. on December 23, 2001.
Born on July 7, 1934 in Harford, PA. She was the daughter of the late Burton and Rachel Pratt Collins.
She is survived by her sons, Philip Oakley Jr. of Dalton, David Oakley and wife Betty of Berrin Springs, MI; daughters, Christine White and husband Wayne of Dalton, Debra Thomas and husband Benjamin of Forkston, and Paula Backman of Dunmore; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Ruth Williams.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by eight sisters and brothers.
Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Nicholson Cemetery.
Arrangements and care are entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
