Michael A. Sponenberg, 49, of Auburn Township passed away on Tuesday February 8, 2022 at his home. He is survived by his wife of 9 years Penny C. Lebarron King. Born in Williamsport, PA on June 30, 1972 he is survived by his parents Robert, Jr. and Carol Yanney Sponenberg. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved having campfires with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Jakob; daughters, Brittney and Briget Delo and husband Elijah; stepsons, Joshua King and wife Beth Nye, Cody King and wife Malia, and Dustin King and wife Ashley; brothers, Kenny and wife Tammy, Jeff and wife Deb, and twin brother Mark and wife Michelle; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Family and friends are invited to attend Michael’s funeral service which will be held on Saturday February 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Trout Run United Methodist Church, 78 Creamery St, Trout Run, PA 17771 with Pastor Mick Dawes presiding. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday. Arrangements and care are entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
