It feels like the end of an era somehow. God bless the Talarico family. Certainly a life well-lived.

When I was a boy growing up in the 1970's my mother took me to Talarico's barbershop. It was a place unlike any other. Mr. Talarico would dutifully cut your hair while holding court for the patrons awaiting haircuts with his gentle humorous demeanor. He had a black plastic comb upon which he tapped his scissors that had a groove worn in it. He would hold that under my nose to make a moustache much to his delight and bring a laugh from those waiting. He taught me many things. He always had time to provide answers to questions displaying a quick wit and a wealth of experience on life and how to live it. Many years later I would join him on the Catholic men's retreat that he organized. He was encouraging and diligent in everything he pursued, always pointing to his religion as the reason for his success. He had a great impact on me and enriched my life for having known him. His presence still looms large even after his passing. My condolences to his family during this difficult time. Peace be with you.

Sending our most sincere condolences to all of you.
Anthony has made such a profound impact on so many lives over his lifetime.,and I feel grateful and honored for having the privilege of being his caretaker and listening to all his marvelous stories everyday!
He never failed to make me smile and laugh, I was in awe of him.
Just wanted to leave this here, because he would recite it to me about every other day...it was a little poem about the weather ,from back during his apprenticeship ,when becoming a barber. " As a rule a mans a fool. When its hot he wants it cool. When its cool he wants it hot. He always wants ,what it is not. " I will cherish my memories of him and his amazing family.
