Helene Louise Spoor, 79, of Hallstead, PA passed away on March 11, 2022 at UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband James Spoor in 2012. Born in South Gibson, PA on September 23, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Enda Muzzy. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Milford. In 2012, after 26 years of service, she retired from Trehab and enjoyed traveling and playing cards. She was very active in her church and always involved in their feed my sheep food pantry. Helene was a devoted grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by son, Robert Minick and wife Cathy; daughters, Ann Wallace, Bonita Minick, and Marsha Morrison; brother, Virgil Muzzy; sisters, Kathy Oakley and husband Carl, Denise Bloxham and husband Richard, and Mary Whittenberg; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Glenn and William Muzzy; sister, Barbara Cottrell; grandson, Timothy Taylor. Family and friends are invited to Helene’s celebration of life service which will be held on April 2, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Hampton Inn, 209 East Tioga Street Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Arrangements and care entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc., 73 West Tioga Street Tunkhannock, PA 18657. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Feed My Sheep Food Pantry, 69 Pratt Street New Milford, PA 18834.
