Frank D. Gates, 82, of Mehoopany passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Karen Adams Gates.
Born in Mehoopany Township on January 29, 1940 he is the son of the late Dorrance and Helen Jennings Gates.
He was a 1957 graduate of Tunkhannock High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1957-1963.
Frank retired from Procter & Gamble, Mehoopany.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Kenneth and Kevin and wife Terri; grandchildren, Christopher and wife Tracy, Ryan and wife Kristin, Dylan and wife Shannon, and Devan Brown and husband Daniel; seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Patton and Linda Gates.
Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with internment in Vaughn Cemetery, Mehoopany.
