Marian Marabell, 87, of Tunkhannock, PA passed away on April 2, 2022 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Marabell in October 1976. Born in Tunkhannock on March 27, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Sherwood and Ethel Vedra Sheffler. She was a graduate of Tunkhannock Highschool, a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Tunkhannock and the Red Hat Society. Marian enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren attending many of their sporting events. She is survived by her sons, Mike and wife Diana and Joe Marabell and Sandy and daughter Sherri Baldwin and husband Mark; sister, Florence Smalser and husband Robert; sister-in-law, Christine Sheffler; grandchildren, Nicholas and Paige Marabell, Danielle Moshinski, and Joe Marabell, and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Walt Sheffler. Funeral services will be held privately with interment in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Arrangements and care entrusted to Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
