Howard T. Miller Howard T. Miller of Tunkhannock a guest at the Meadows Nursing Home in Dallas died on Wednesday November 13, 2013 with his daughter Leona Miller at his side. He was born in Tunkhannock on August 8, 1925 son of the late Thomas and Harriet Carpenter Miller. He was an army veteran. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a carpenter. Howard was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a hard worker and great provider for his family. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Leona Wall Miller, brothers Byron and George Miller, sister Doris Miller and granddaughter Linda Noble. Surviving are daughters Leona Miller of Clear Lake, Wisc., Jessie Avery, Nicholson, Mary Noble, Springville, Edith Wiebel, Harvey’s Lake, Nina Pond, Nicholson, son Howard Miller, Inwood, WV., Lloyd Pond, Nicholson, brothers Harry and Harold Miller both of Tunkhannock, Carl Miller of Reno, NV. 15 grandchildren, 29 grandchildren and his beagle dog hunter his companion to the end by his side for 19 years. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St,, Tunkhannock interment in Jackson Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
