Joseph S. Dymond Jr., 93 of Falls passed away quietly in his sleep Monday evening at the Meadows Nursing Home in Dallas.
Grandpa Joe was born in Dymond Hollow on August 16, 1920. He was the son of the late Joseph S. and Minnie Agnew Dymond.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ready Dymond, daughter Joleen Martin, son Jeffrey Scott, brothers Stuart, Daniel, Edward Dymond and sisters Maude Schultheis, and Ruey Dymond.
He is survived by a daughter Deb Easton, of Aurora, Colorado four grandsons; Christopher and wife Sherry of Falls, David and wife Heather of Clayton, NJ, Brett of Laceyville, and Timothy Martin of Nebraska, two granddaughters Desiree Dymond of Kingston, and Tara Dymond of Virginia Beach, VA, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock, friends and family may call at funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
