Obituary of MaryAnn J. O'Neill

MaryAnn J. O’ Neill MaryAnn J. O’Neil 79, of Factoryville died Monday morning April 7th at VNA Hospice in Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband William R. O’Neill. She was born on May 6, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY daughter of the late John Joseph and Katherine Marie Holmes Stickevers. She was very socially active in her community, she was a member of the Factoryville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, the Red Hats, Moose Lodge 1276, and in her earlier years was a bar tender at the Prince Hotel. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be deeply missed by all. MaryAnn was preceded in death by her brothers Billy and Robert Stickevers. She is survived by daughters Brenda and husband Dominick Curci, of Westbury, NY, Lauretta Galm, of Dallas, PA, Maureen Weber, of Germyn, PA, Carolyn Hubert, of Mastic Beach, NY, Elizabeth and husband Jim Ginas, of Suffolk, VA, and son John O’Neill, of Anna, TX, sisters Kathy and Husband Richie DeRenzis, of Hicksville, NY, Helen and husband Sal Noto, of S.C., Brother John and wife Eleanor Stickevers, of Howard Beach, NY, 18 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon Thursday April 10th From the Church of Nativity B.V.M. in Tunkhannock interment will be in Pieta Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Tuesday Evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
