Frank T. Shylkofski 49, of Tunkhannock died Saturday after a long battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Patricia Sliker Shylkofski. He was born in Scranton on April 20, 1965 son of the late Frank T. and Edith Frantz Shylkofski, Sr. Frank attended high school at Scranton Central High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Scranton. He worked as a technician at Procter and Gamble in Mehoopany. Frank enjoyed spending time with friends and family especially his three grandchildren whom he enjoyed teaching about the outdoors and animals. He was preceded in death by his sisters Carol Romich and Mary Lynn Shylkofski Sr. He is survived by his son Corey, of Factoryville, and sisters Sue Solsman, of Scranton, Frances Golden, of Malvern, PA, Judi Marmulstein, of Austin, TX, Elizabeth Garrison-Field, of Scranton, and three grandchildren Isabelle, Owen, and Connor. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM from the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tunkhannock with Pastor Murray Brindle. Interment will be held in Abington Hills Cemetery. A gathering of friends and family will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
