Obituary of Leslie A. Mills

Leslie A. Mills Sr., age 87, died suddenly on November 5, 2014 at his home. Raised in Glenolden, PA, he was a longtime resident of Concord Twp. and has resided the past 2 years in Tunkhannock, PA. A WWII Navy Veteran, he served on the USS McCaffery as a 3rd Class Machinist Mate. A Master Plumber by trade, he was a member of the NRA, he was an avid hunter as well as an avid sports fan. He particularly enjoyed watching Penn State and Eagles football and Phillies baseball. He enjoyed many years at camp Winnie Hollow in Tioga County. Les is preceded in death by his parents, Ethelbert and Catharine Mills. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Jane Mills (nee) Noto, children, Lynda (Walter) Barksdale, Philip (Linda) McCarthy, Robin (Edward) Stump and Leslie A. Mills Jr., he is 1 of 12 with 5 surviving siblings, Frederick, Robert, William and John Mills and Linda McKeeman, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 1:00pm on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA 19060.
