Obituary of Joan Carter

Joan Carter, 80, of Falls died Monday afternoon at the Gardens, Tunkhannock, PA. She was the daughter of the late Gideon and Ida Lubeck Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Donald Carter. She loved to work outside and sit out in the sun on her porch. She also loved her cat Cutie Pie very much. She was preceded in death by her son; David Paul Carter, brother; Gideon Carter, sister; Mary Sweet. She was survived by daughter; Faye Bush and her significant other Peter Collins, Sisters; Deborah Cook and Delmar of falls, Janice Taffera and Richard of Falls, and Sally Rezykowski and John of Texas. Grandchildren; Natalie Bush and Rebecca Collins, Great Grandchildren Zachary Meck, Chelsea Bush, and Chloe James Funeral Services are private and entrusted in to the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., Tunkhannock, PA. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Falls PA.
