Dear Furman Family,
We were deeply saddened to hear that Cliff passed away. He touched so many lives over the years and he has certainly left all of us with quite a legacy. He was a kind and gentle neighbor and reminded us so much of his dear father. As you cherish your precious memories of him please reflect on the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29. In this passage we are assured of the resurrection. At that wonderful time our tears of grief will be transformed into tears of joy. This promise was made possible by our loving Heavenly Father Jehovah through the sacrifice of his dear son Jesus Christ (John 3:16). May this sure hope bring you a measure of comfort at this difficult time.

"And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." (1 Corinthians 15:26) God promises that he will soon wipe away and reverse the effects of this enemy that causes so much pain. Your precious one will be brought back to you and you will never have to experience the pain of losing him ever again. This is a promise from God! Growing up in Mehoopany, I was fortunate to have had Cliffy as both a scout leader and MYF (Methodist Youth Fellowship) leader. What a wonderful, caring man. I still have the little publication entitled "Youth at Prayer" he gave me October 25th, 1957. Many a time it gave me comfort. Yes, Cliffy was one of the special ones our Lord loaned to us for awhile.

What a beautiful video, showed just who Cliff Furman was. He was such and kind and faithful friend. He was a lot of fun. I remember when we got dressed up for Halloween and we went to the haunted house in Mehoopany, Cliff was dressed as a clown and I was a nun. Just one of the fun times shared with Cliff and your family. I look forward to seeing him again one day. He sure earned his place in Heaven. RIP

So so sorry! Feel as though I lost a family member. Your dad always made all the kids who came to your house feel welcome. He never looked down on anyone. Never judged. I can't imagine what he is seeing today. If I can do anything, please let me know. I love you all.
